Being alone is not the same as being lonely

I don’t care where I am as long as I’m happy
Meaning that you have to be at peace with
yourself and know how to keep moving on
I’ve learned to calm down just let myself be
and pull my head out of the sand

You really have to want it because you are
committing to work while others have time off
You’re like a fixed point in people’s lives in a
place of chaos and it’s interesting to observe
people who come to exchange and hang out

Back to my roots
Where my thoughts run free

Water is calm
Water is home
My head is clear

My love for the lake
Sometimes more sometimes less
Here I find the peace that I often lack
